Meet Dr. Preston

Marcia L. Preston, DDS

Dr. Marcia Preston has been providing quality dental care to the Republic community for 24 years. She graduated with distinction and many honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2002. After graduation, she returned to her hometown and established Preston Family Dental.

Dr. Preston enjoys serving her community by providing dental care for children affiliated with Care to Learn, sponsoring events for Republic Parks and Recreation, assisting People Helping People through the Backpack Program and adopting children for the holidays. She served as a board member for the Republic Community Foundation for six years. She has been acknowledged by her peers for the last eighteen years by being voted one of 417 Lands “Top Dentist.”

Dr Preston has been married to her husband, Joe, for 31 years. They have a daughter who lives in Nashville, Tn and a son who stayed close to home and lives on the family farm. She also shares her home with several rescue dogs, one being Buddy who goes to work with her each day. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the lake, making stained glass with antique glassware, trail riding and camping with her horses, and spending time with her animals. Dr. Preston has a farm outside of Republic where she raises miniature cattle. Mini Cow Farms is also home to several horses, donkeys, goats,sheep, chickens, a couple barn cats, a mini lop bunny, and a pet pot-bellied pig named Arnold.
