Marcia L. Preston, D.D.S.
Dr. Marcia Preston has been providing quality dental care to the Republic community for 15 years. She graduated with distinction and many honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2002. After graduation, she returned to her hometown and established Preston Family Dental.
Dr. Preston enjoys serving her community by providing dental care for the children affiliated with Care to Learn, being a corporate sponsor for the Republic Booster Club, sponsoring events for the Republic Parks and Recreation, assisting People Helping People through the Backpack program, and adopting children for the holidays. She also served as a board member for the Republic Community Foundation for six years. She has been acknowledged by her peers for the last nine years by being voted one of 417 Land's "Top Dentist."
Dr. Preston has been married to her husband, Joe, for 22 years. They have a daughter who is in college and a son who is a student in the Republic School District. She also shares her home with several rescue dogs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, making stained glass with antique glassware, antiquing, trail riding and camping with her horses, and time with all of her animals. Dr. Preston has a farm outside of Republic where she has a variety of animals, including two miniature ponies (the one named Benny is blind), horses, a donkey, a miniature donkey, cows, goats, chickens, barn cats, and a pot-bellied pig named Arnold. Her farm is often referred to as a petting zoo!
